    Synopsis Ken Adam

"In the scene where he eats soup with the spoon for the first time, I think you'll find there are maybe three paintings on the walls – many are removed as part of the King's cure – the table and one chair where he eats, and a few other props, but nothing else in this rather nicely proportioned Georgian room. The set was reduced to its bare essentials. And that, to me, is production design. It's to help the dramatic theme." (Ken Adam)
